Who is Rama?

📖 Rama — the Seventh Avatar of Vishnu

Lord Rama is one of the most revered and inspiring figures in the Hindu tradition.
He appeared during Treta Yuga as the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, in order to restore dharma (the cosmic law of righteousness), destroy evil, and remind humanity of the true path.

Rama was born in the royal city of Ayodhya to King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya. His birth was not just an event, but the descent of Lord Narayana (Vishnu) Himself, come to re-establish justice and destroy demonic forces.

🌟 Rama as the Ideal Being

• Known as Maryada Purushottama — “The Perfect Man,” the embodiment of virtue.

• He was the ideal son, the faithful husband, the just ruler, and the compassionate human being.

• He endured trials — exile in the forest, separation from his beloved Sita, war with demons — all with humility and adherence to dharma.

💠 His lesson: accept life’s challenges with grace and remain true to dharma, even when everything feels unfair.

⚔ The Battle with Ravana — Light vs. Darkness

Rama’s primary mission was to destroy Ravana, the proud and cruel king of Lanka, who kidnapped Sita.

• Ravana symbolizes ego, greed, lust, and arrogance.

• Rama represents truth, awareness, purity, and devotion.

• Their battle is not only an epic war, but also a spiritual allegory — the struggle between the higher Self and the shadow of the ego.

📜 The Ramayana

The great epic composed by sage Valmiki tells Rama’s story. But it is far more than a tale — it is a spiritual guide to life, full of archetypes and eternal lessons.
